Within our Mobile Solutions Business Unit, you will lead the application and development of fuel and lube filtration solutions for Original Equipment (OE) customers across EMEA, ensuring successful product launches while driving value engineering and cost optimization initiatives across our portfolio. Your Responsibilies Manage and coordinate the application and development of engine liquid filtration products for OE customers in EMEA, from early opportunity assessment through production hand-over.Create, review, and evaluate design concepts selecting the best solution from cost, performance, manufacturability, quality, and intellectual property perspectives.Ensure products are designed, validated, tested, benchmarked, and manufactured according to defined customer, technical, quality, production, PPAP, and relevant industry requirements.Conduct technical investigations, root-cause analysis and problem solving for issues identified during development, production, benchmarking, or in the field.Support VAVE / cost-saving projects by identifying, evaluating, and implementing design, material, and production process changes across the existing product range.Follow up project milestones, coordinate development steps, and ensure timely product release and successful project closure.Cooperate with Manufacturing, Production, Quality, Logistics, Procurement, Sales, and customers to maximize design for manufacturability and ensure smooth implementation of new products and changes in existing ones, including VAVE.Provide technical support to Sales, Customers, users in the field, and internal teams during product development, launch, and issue resolution.Work effectively within a multinational organization and maintain active cooperation with production plants and global engineering teams. Your Minimum Qualifications Master’s degree in Engineering, preferably Mechanical, Industrial or Automotive Engineering.Minimum 3 years of professional experience in R&D, design, product engineering, project engineering, application engineering, technical product management, or an equivalent engineering role.Project management skills with the ability to drive VAVE / cost-saving initiatives, manage priorities, coordinate cross-functional actions, and deliver measurable results.Fluent verbal and written English, with good communication skills.General knowledge of manufacturing methods, capabilities, materials, and processing technologies, including plastics, metals, aluminum die-casting, and rubber.Willingness to travel up to 10% of the time. Your Preferred Qualifications Basic understanding of internal combustion engines and mobile equipment applications would be an advantage.Working experience in the automotive industry and familiarity with APQP, PPAP, DFSS, and IATF 16949 requirements would be an asset.
