Application Security Engineer

IDR is seeking an Application Security Engineer to join one of our top clients. This role focuses on securing applications across Salesforce, .NET, and Azure App Services through DevSecOps, security tools, and penetration testing. Candidates must be located in the Eastern or Central Time Zone. Position Overview for the Application Security Engineer: Build and implement the organization’s application security / DevSecOps programIntegrate application security into CI/CD pipelines and development workflowsManage penetration testing and vulnerability testing processesImplement and manage static and dynamic code analysisManage the full application security lifecycle from testing through remediationPartner with developers to identify, remediate, and prevent application security vulnerabilitiesTrain developers and establish secure coding/application security practices across the organization Requirements for the Application Security Engineer: 7+ years of experience in Application Security, DevSecOps, or a closely related roleStrong secure coding and code review experience with .NET and Salesforce/ApexHands-on Salesforce security architecture experience, including security configuration and access controlsCI/CD security experience integrating security tools into Git and Azure DevOps workflowsHands-on experience with application security testing tools and methodologies, including SAST, DAST, SCA, and container security What's in it for you?
