About The Role We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our dynamic team at Insight Global. In this role, you will be instrumental in leading and supporting the development, deployment, and maintenance of our software solutions. You will work closely with a team comprising software and data architects, interface designers, and management to ensure the seamless integration and operation of our applications. The ideal candidate will possess a strong technical background, with the ability to adapt to new technologies rapidly, maintain robust version control practices, and foster innovative solutions through product development and testing. Your expertise will be crucial in automating workflows, enhancing system security, and ensuring high availability of our applications. Qualifications The ideal candidate will have a four-year degree in Computer Science or an equivalent combination of education and experience. A minimum of three years of experience in DevOps within a .NET environment is required, along with demonstrated leadership capabilities within a development team. Technical proficiency in .NET Framework, ASP.NET MVC, .NET Core, WebAPI 2/RESTful services, MS SQL, HTML5, CSS3, Bootstrap, JavaScript, jQuery, and AngularJS is essential. Candidates should have a strong foundation in data communications, debugging, troubleshooting, and experience working within iterative and interactive development cycles. The ability to develop high-quality, clean, and safe code rapidly, while managing multiple tasks and maintaining attention to detail, is critical. Familiarity with automation of testing and workflows, system hardening, and configuration management is also highly desirable. Candidates should demonstrate a passion for staying current with emerging technologies and possess excellent problem-solving and project management skills. Responsibilities As a DevOps Engineer at Insight Global, your responsibilities will include: Leading the integration and deployment pipeline to maximize efficiency and reliability.Implementing industry best practices for system security, hardening, and configuration management.Collaborating with development, testing, and production teams to automate workflows and improve operational efficiencies.Developing, testing, and deploying high-quality software solutions in a fast-paced environment with frequent iterations.Automating repetitive tasks, including testing procedures, to streamline development processes.Providing after-hours support during application deployment or updates, ensuring minimal downtime and high availability.Participating in troubleshooting, defect correction, and standardizing QA procedures to ensure software quality.Contributing to the creation of instructional materials and documentation related to applications and workflows.Engaging in continuous learning to stay abreast of emerging technologies and industry trends.Managing multiple projects simultaneously while maintaining focus on intricate details and long-term goals.
