About The Role Visa's Cyber Product Development team is seeking a talented and motivated Software Engineer with a focus on DevSecOps and expertise in Generative AI (GenAI) and agentic development. The ideal candidate will have a passion for automation, open-source solutions, and innovative cybersecurity technologies. In this role, you will collaborate closely with stakeholders to gather detailed requirements and develop robust solutions through coding, aiming to advance Visa's cybersecurity initiatives. You will independently drive project deliverables, leverage complex problem-solving skills, and utilize modern development and testing practices within a dynamic team environment. This position requires a proactive approach, a dedication to delivering production-ready code within tight deadlines, and a willingness to go beyond routine tasks to achieve impactful results. Qualifications The ideal candidate will possess at least 2 years of relevant work experience with a Bachelor's degree or 5+ years of industry experience. Experience in product development, agent development, and cybersecurity incident response concepts is essential. Candidates should be proficient with agentic design patterns, generative AI models via function calling, specialized prompting, and familiar with tools like Langchain, Crew AI, and Camel AI. Strong expertise in Python, Linux systems, and web frameworks such as Django or React is required. Additional qualifications include experience with CI/CD pipelines, source control, and large-scale data analysis. A background in cybersecurity automation, investigation workflows, and threat intelligence platforms is highly preferred. Certifications like OSCP, Anthropic Claude, OpenAI Codex, or similar AI and cybersecurity credentials are advantageous. Responsibilities Design, develop, and implement cybersecurity automation solutions using modern GenAI coding tools and agentic development patterns, including creating agents, sub-agents, swarms, and memory management systems.Build and deploy production-ready Python applications, REST APIs, and web services, ensuring secure, scalable, and maintainable codebases.Develop agents for alert triage, evidence collection, investigation summarization, remediation recommendations, and workflow automation, utilizing tools like Codex, Claude Code, or CLINE.Create and integrate GenAI-enabled APIs, including MCP, A2A, and tool-based REST services, supporting cybersecurity investigations and operations.Work with relational and non-relational databases such as SQL and Elastic, applying large-scale data analysis techniques to identify security signals and support incident response activities.Containerize, deploy, and operationalize solutions via CI/CD pipelines, automated testing, validation, and monitoring processes.Conduct comprehensive testing, including unit, integration, regression, and security assessments, to validate agentic systems and ensure compliance with security standards.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to clarify requirements, iterate on design solutions, document outcomes, and support ongoing production deployments.Provide troubleshooting and performance optimization for Python applications, Linux environments, containers, APIs, and cybersecurity workflows.Maintain clear communication with stakeholders, ensuring alignment on project goals, timelines, and deliverables within a fast-paced environment.
