Technical Product Manager (Data & Analytics) Overview We are seeking a Technical Product Manager to lead the planning, delivery, and ongoing enhancement of data, analytics, reporting, and business technology solutions. This role serves as the bridge between business stakeholders and technical teams, ensuring initiatives are delivered efficiently and aligned with organizational goals. The Technical Product Manager will manage products and initiatives throughout the full lifecycle, from discovery and requirements gathering through implementation and continuous improvement. This individual will work closely with business leaders, technical teams, analysts, developers, and third-party partners to prioritize work, manage dependencies, mitigate risks, and deliver scalable solutions that support operational performance and growth. This position plays a key role in advancing the organization's data and technology capabilities by translating business needs into actionable technical outcomes and driving execution across multiple concurrent initiatives. Experience Requirements 5+ years of experience in Technical Product Management, Product Ownership, Business Systems Analysis, or a related role.Experience leading technical initiatives involving data platforms, reporting, analytics, software applications, or systems integrations.Demonstrated ability to translate business objectives into technical requirements and implementation plans.Experience coordinating cross-functional teams including business stakeholders, software developers, data teams, and external vendors.Proven ability to manage competing priorities, dependencies, risks, and timelines across multiple projects.Key Responsibilities Lead the planning, prioritization, and delivery of data and technology-focused products and initiatives.Manage and maintain a product roadmap, balancing strategic projects, operational improvements, and new business requirements.Collaborate with business, operations, technology, compliance, and external stakeholders to define requirements and ensure successful execution.Translate business needs into detailed product requirements, user stories, and technical deliverables.Oversee projects through the entire delivery lifecycle, ensuring milestones, quality standards, and timelines are met.Identify and manage project risks, resource constraints, and cross-functional dependencies.Provide regular updates on roadmap progress, project status, and key performance metrics to leadership teams.Support continuous improvement efforts by identifying opportunities to enhance processes, data utilization, reporting capabilities, and technology solutions.Partner with technical teams to assess feasibility, resource requirements, and implementation approaches for new initiatives.Required Skills & Qualifications Strong written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills.Excellent analytical thinking and problem-solving abilities.Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities simultaneously.Experience influencing stakeholders and leading cross-functional initiatives.Familiarity with reporting, analytics, business intelligence, or data-driven products.Understanding of data governance, privacy, compliance, and risk management concepts.Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.Ability to navigate ambiguity and work effectively in fast-paced environments.Technical Skills Experience utilizing AI-enabled productivity tools to improve efficiency and delivery outcomes.Hands-on experience with product and project management platforms such as Jira, Azure DevOps, Productboard, or similar tools.Familiarity with Agile, Scrum, Waterfall, or hybrid delivery methodologies.Exposure to reporting and business intelligence platforms such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent solutions.Working knowledge of SQL and data analysis concepts preferred.Experience working with data platforms, integrations, APIs, or enterprise business applications is a plus.Preferred Characteristics Self-starter with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.Strategic thinker who can balance long-term vision with day-to-day execution.Proactive and solutions-oriented approach to problem solving.Highly organized with strong follow-through.Comfortable working in an evolving environment with shifting priorities.Collaborative leader who can build alignment across technical and non-technical stakeholders.
