Middleware System Engineer

We are looking for a skilled Middleware System Engineer with strong expertise on management of enterprise Java-based middleware platforms (Apache Tomcat, JBoss EAP, Apache HTTPD) on RHEL Linux platform, using automation based on Ansible. The ideal candidate will be responsible for the installation, deployment, administration, maintenance, automation, and support of mission-critical environments, working closely with infrastructure, application, and database teams. The role requires hands-on experience in both day-to-day operations and project activities, including platform deployments, upgrades, migrations, troubleshooting, and continuous improvement initiatives Fully Remote Regular business hours Responsibilities: Install, configure, upgrade, patch, and support Java-based application server platforms like: Apache Tomcat, JBoss EAP, Apache HTTPDSupport incident management, root cause analysis, and problem resolution.Create and maintain technical documentation, installation procedures, operational runbooks, and automation standards.Participate in migration, upgrade, modernization, and platform transformation initiatives.Use, Develop and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, inventories, and automation frameworks related to the Middleware listed above. Requirements: Middleware Administration Proven experience installing, configuring, administering, and supporting Java-based middleware platforms.Strong experience with: Apache Tomcat, JBoss EAP / WildFly, Apache HTTPDAutomation Hands-on experience with Ansible.Ability to develop and maintain playbooks, roles, inventories, and automation workflows.Experience automating infrastructure provisioning, configuration management, application deployment, and operational tasks.Linux Strong knowledge of Red Hat Enterprise Linux.Experience with system administration, troubleshooting, performance tuning, and security hardening.Good understanding of Linux networking, storage, LVM, and filesystem management.Good scripting skills (Bash or similar).
