Senior Systems Engineer

Standard Job Description Performs technical planning, system integration, verification and validation, cost and risk, and supportability and effectiveness analyses for total systems, and information technology related responsibilities including design, development, and analysis of computer systems or programs based on and related to user or system design specifications; applying systems analysis techniques and procedures, including consulting with users to determine hardware, software, or system functional specifications. Analyses are performed at all levels of total system product to include: concept, design, fabrication, test, installation, operation, maintenance and disposal. Ensures the logical and systematic conversion of customer or product requirements into total systems solutions that acknowledge technical, schedule, and cost constraints. Performs functional analysis, timeline analysis, detail trade studies, requirements allocation and interface definition studies to translate customer requirements into hardware and software specifications. This position is for the Test Lead/Product Owner of the GPS Development Test Team. Responsiblities will include: Manage the Team Backlog: Make timely, informed decisions on product priorities, features, and scope. Balance stakeholder input with team feedback to maximize product value. Program Increment (PI) Planning – Actively prepare for and participate in PI Planning Collaborate Across Teams Interface between the team and management Technical understanding of team scope Basic Qualifications Experience leading test teamsExperience creating test plans, procedures and reportsExperience with troubleshooting system anomalies in lab environments and in real and simulated test assetsExperience with GPS Desired Skills Experience with Agile Pay Information Full-Time Salary Range: $129000.00 - $239600.00 At Lockheed Martin, we know mission success starts with taking care of our people.
