Our client is a leading technology company driving digital transformation through innovative, high-performance platforms that improve operational efficiency and deliver exceptional user experiences. 📍 Location: Northern Suburbs, Athens 🏠 Work Model: Hybrid (3 days onsite | 2 days remote) 📢 Reporting Line: Engineering Lead What you will be doing: As a Senior Full Stack Developer (React / Java Spring), you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining modern web applications across both the front-end and back-end layers. Working closely with Product Owners, Architects, DevOps Engineers, and fellow Developers, you will deliver scalable, secure, high-performing enterprise solutions that support critical business operations. What you will be doing: Design, develop, and maintain responsive and user-friendly web applications using React and Java Spring Boot.Build and optimize scalable RESTful APIs and backend services.Develop reusable front-end components and ensure a seamless user experience across platforms and devices.Design and implement microservices architectures to support business growth and system scalability.Collaborate with UX/UI teams to translate business requirements into intuitive and engaging user interfaces.Integrate front-end applications with backend services and third-party systems.Design, maintain, and optimize relational databases, ensuring data integrity and performance.Implement secure authentication and authorization mechanisms using modern security standards.Write clean, maintainable, and well-tested code following software engineering best practices.Develop and execute unit, integration, and end-to-end tests to ensure software quality and reliability.Participate in code reviews, technical design discussions, and continuous improvement initiatives.Monitor application performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively optimize system reliability and user experience.Contribute to technical documentation and support the evolution of development standards and processes. Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Technology, or a related field.5-8 years of professional experience in Full Stack Software Development.Strong hands-on experience with Java and Spring Boot.Strong experience developing modern front-end applications using React.Solid understanding of JavaScript (ES6+), HTML5, CSS3, and responsive web design principles.Experience building and consuming RESTful APIs.Strong understanding of state management solutions such as Redux, Context API, or similar.Experience working with relational databases and query optimization techniques.Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS and/or Microsoft Azure.Experience with containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.Good understanding of Git-based version control systems and CI/CD pipelines.Experience with automated testing frameworks for both front-end and back-end development.Strong understanding of software architecture principles, design patterns, and application security best practices.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Ability to work effectively within Agile development environments.
