DevOps Engineer

Company Description MyHiringSpace is an AI-driven hiring workspace that enables teams to post jobs, manage applicants, and proactively search the wider talent market using Atlas. The platform unifies sourced candidates and direct applicants in a single pipeline, providing clear match reasoning and support for region-specific requirements such as Emiratisation. Atlas allows hiring teams to describe ideal talent in plain English, then surfaces a curated short list with transparent evaluation, eliminating the need for complex Boolean searches. MyHiringSpace integrates with existing ATS or CRM systems and supports jobs, careers pages, applicant management, shared pipelines, and intelligent search. The company is based in Dubai and collaborates with talent teams across the Gulf. Role Description This is a full-time, on-site DevOps Engineer role located in Dubai, United Arab Emirates. The DevOps Engineer will design, implement, and maintain scalable infrastructure that supports MyHiringSpace’s AI-powered hiring platform. Daily responsibilities include managing CI pipelines, automating deployments, and ensuring system reliability and performance across development, staging, and production environments. The person in this role will work closely with software engineers to streamline build and release processes, improve observability, and enhance security and compliance practices. The DevOps Engineer will also handle Linux-based system administration, monitor infrastructure health, and contribute to continuous improvement of deployment workflows and infrastructure-as-code standards. Qualifications Strong Infrastructure as Code (IaC) skills, including experience with tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, or similar.Solid Software Development background, with the ability to write clean, maintainable scripts or services in languages commonly used for DevOps (e.g., Python, Go, or similar).Hands-on experience with Continuous Integration and delivery tools (e.g., GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, or equivalent) to automate builds, tests, and deployments.Proficiency in System Administration for cloud and on-prem environments, including configuration, monitoring, and troubleshooting.Advanced Linux skills, including shell scripting, performance tuning, and security hardening.Experience with containerization and orchestration (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes) and cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP).Knowledge of networking fundamentals, security best practices, and observability tools (logging, metrics, and tracing).Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent practical experience.Ability to collaborate effectively in cross-functional teams, communicate clearly, and document infrastructure and processes.Previous experience in high-growth SaaS or AI-driven platforms is an advantage.
