SENIOR SHOPIFY DEVELOPER
We are seeking a Senior Ecommerce Developer with a deep understanding of the Shopify platform.
This role requires deep expertise in Shopify’s ecosystem, strong front-end engineering skills, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical solutions.
You will partner closely with developers, designers, business analysts, projects managers, and stakeholders to deliver exceptional commerce experiences.
Responsibilities
Design, build, and maintain custom Shopify and Shopify Plus storefronts & POS extensionsDevelop custom themes, sections, and Shopify Functions using Liquid, React, React Native, HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptBuild and integrate custom Shopify apps using Shopify APIs (JavaScript, APIs)Implement and/or integrate advanced checkout, cart, and subscription customizationsOptimize storefront performance, accessibility, and SEOImplement integrations with third-party systems (ERP, OMS, CMS, PIM, payment providers, analytics, etc)Collaborate with UX/design to advise & implement pixel-perfect, responsive experiencesTroubleshoot complex production issues and provide long-term solutionsRequired Qualifications
5+ years of professional web development experience3+ years of hands-on Shopify and Shopify Plus developmentStrong expertise in: Shopify Liquid, JavaScript and HTML / CSSExperience with Shopify Storefront API, Admin API, and GraphQLExperience building or extending custom Shopify appsDeep understanding of Shopify theme architecture (Online Store 2.0, Horizons)Familiarity with modern front-end tooling (Webpack, Vite, npm/yarn)Experience with Git and modern CI/CD workflowsStrong debugging and performance optimization skillsAbility to communicate clearly with both technical and non-technical stakeholdersNice to Have
