About The Role We are seeking a skilled .NET Developer to join our expanding team. This position offers the flexibility of remote work, performed virtually from the candidate’s home office, aligned with Eastern Standard Time (EST) schedule. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in software development, particularly within diverse SAFe/Agile environments, and demonstrate the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. This role involves providing technical leadership, effective communication, and coordination across teams to support the development and maintenance of critical software solutions for federal clients. Candidates must be U.S. Citizens with the ability to obtain a Public Trust security clearance, as this role involves access to sensitive government information. Qualifications The successful candidate will hold a Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Information Systems, or a related field. Alternatively, candidates with over 8 years of relevant experience in lieu of formal education will also be considered. A minimum of 5 years of professional software development experience is required, with demonstrated expertise in Electronic Data Interchange (EDI) solutions, including X12 transaction sets, XML, JSON, and HL7 message formats. Strong knowledge of ANSI X12 standards, mapping, validation, and troubleshooting of EDI transactions is essential. Experience with Tibco Validator (Foresight) for EDI validation and compliance testing is highly desirable. Candidates should possess extensive experience developing and maintaining .NET Console Applications, integration services, and secure applications using the .NET Framework (4.x). Proficiency in C#, WebForms, MVC, Web API, ADO.NET, and Entity Framework is necessary. Familiarity with web service and API development utilizing SOAP/XML, REST, JSON, jQuery, Bootstrap, Ajax, and CSS is also required. A solid understanding of Object-Oriented design principles, Agile/Scrum methodologies, and the ability to work in a fast-paced, evolving environment are critical. Candidates must be able to obtain a Public Trust security clearance and work legally within the U.S. without sponsorship. Responsibilities The primary responsibilities include performing complex analysis, designing, developing, testing, and debugging software applications. The developer will be accountable for activities ranging from software design, coding, unit testing, to orchestration of system components. As an active member of the Scrum team, the candidate will contribute to sprint planning, ceremonies, demonstrations, and retrospectives, providing valuable input to enhance team velocity. The role requires maintaining and improving existing EDI solutions, troubleshooting transaction issues, and ensuring compliance with industry standards. The developer will collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate healthcare or enterprise EDI solutions, support system-to-system data transformations, and implement secure, scalable applications aligned with client requirements. Additionally, maintaining documentation, participating in code reviews, and supporting continuous integration and deployment (CI/CD) pipelines are essential duties.
