Software Engineer III Duration: 12-Month Contract Location: Charlotte, NC (525 S Tryon St, Charlotte, NC 28202) Work Schedule: Hybrid Pay Rate: $75/hour Job Requirements Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or a related field preferred.Minimum 7+ years of professional software development experience delivering enterprise applications and technology solutions.Experience developing applications using Java.Strong hands-on experience with Spring Framework, including:Spring BootSpring MVCHibernate/ORM technologiesExperience working with AWS or similar cloud platforms.Experience designing and developing RESTful APIs.Understanding of API architecture and API management platforms.Proficiency with PostgreSQL and/or SQL Server databases.Familiarity with NoSQL database technologies.Experience with GitHub Actions.Experience implementing and supporting CI/CD automation pipelines.Experience with containerization technologies.Strong knowledge of Git version control.Experience working within an Agile/Scrum development environment.Ability to participate throughout the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC), including requirements analysis, development, testing, deployment, and production support.Experience developing high-performance, scalable, and highly available applications.Strong troubleshooting, debugging, and performance optimization skills.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver projects on schedule.Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.Excellent verbal and written communication skills.Ability to collaborate effectively with product owners, operations teams, stakeholders, and cross-functional teams.Demonstrated ownership mentality and accountability for delivering technical solutions.Preferred Background Cloud-native application development experience.Experience supporting enterprise business applications in production environments.Experience working on platform modernization or transformation initiatives.
