Job Purpose:
Own, operate, modernize, and continuously improve be’ah’s digital infrastructure across hybrid cloud and on-premises environments, including cloud platforms, servers, data center and network infrastructure, connectivity services, identity services, Microsoft 365/Exchange, backup, disaster recovery, business continuity, databases, endpoint and infrastructure management tools, and related security controls.
The role ensures reliable day-to-day operations while supporting be’ah’s transition to cloud services, network modernization, secure site connectivity, OIA cybersecurity and BCM compliance requirements, procurement and vendor management activities, and the delivery of secure, resilient, cost-effective platforms for corporate and waste-sector digital transformation initiatives.
Key Accountabilities & Responsibilities:
Operate and maintain be’ah’s hybrid infrastructure environment, including on-premises servers, cloud services, data center components, network infrastructure, WAN/LAN connectivity, wireless services, internet links, VPNs, firewalls, network-dependent platforms, backup environments, and Microsoft 365 services.Support the implementation of be’ah’s cloud migration roadmap by assessing existing workloads, preparing migration requirements, coordinating with vendors, validating target architectures, and ensuring continuity of services during transition.Administer and improve identity and collaboration platforms, including Active Directory, cloud identity integration, Exchange Online, legacy Exchange dependencies, Microsoft Teams, OneDrive, SharePoint, and related Microsoft 365 services.Support Microsoft 365 E5 deployment activities, including security and compliance configuration, email migration, decommissioning of legacy components, user impact management, knowledge transfer, and post-implementation support.Monitor infrastructure availability, capacity, performance, security posture, and service health, and coordinate timely remediation of incidents, vulnerabilities, configuration gaps, and operational risks.Manage and coordinate network operations, including LAN/WAN availability, site connectivity, wireless access, internet links, VPN access, firewall rule coordination, network monitoring, bandwidth utilization, performance issues, and escalation with telecom and network service providers.Manage and test backup, restore, and disaster recovery arrangements across servers, databases, cloud workloads, collaboration services, and critical applications; maintain evidence of successful tests and corrective actions.Maintain DR colocation and cloud-based recovery capabilities in line with business continuity requirements, OIA cybersecurity expectations, agreed RTO/RPO targets, and approved transition plans.Act as an ICT focal point for BCM-related activities by contributing to BIA updates, recovery strategies, continuity exercises, evidence repositories, and improvement actions.Prepare, review, and validate SOWs, RFPs, technical compliance matrices, solution architecture documents, infrastructure designs, network designs, backup/DR proposals, and vendor submissions related to cloud, Microsoft 365, infrastructure, connectivity, security, and operational platforms.Support vendor evaluation, contract renewal, service review, SLA monitoring, invoice validation, and follow-up activities for infrastructure, cloud, DR, Microsoft, network, support, and managed service providers.Provide technical input to strategic digital initiatives such as the Waste Management Platform, operations platforms, data lakehouse, ERP/Dynamics 365 environments, CRM, helpdesk, endpoint management, and site connectivity projects.Coordinate with cybersecurity resources and SOC/service providers to investigate malicious activity, strengthen infrastructure controls, implement remediation actions, and support compliance with cybersecurity policies and regulatory expectations.Drive infrastructure standardization through controlled change management, patching, configuration baselines, endpoint and server lifecycle planning, asset records, support procedures, and operational documentation.Develop and maintain SOPs, diagrams, inventories, runbooks, technical reports, incident reports, procurement justifications, and audit-ready evidence to support internal governance, external reviews, and management decision-making.Support IT operations and service management by following up on critical tickets, recurring incidents, helpdesk improvements, endpoint replacement, email security issues, and operational escalations affecting be’ah users and business units.Identify opportunities to reduce infrastructure complexity, retire unused systems, optimize running costs, automate repetitive operational tasks, and improve service resilience through cloud, managed services, and fit-for-purpose technology solutions.
Minimum Qualifications & Experience:
Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Cybersecurity, or a related discipline; equivalent professional experience may be considered.Minimum 6-8 years of hands-on experience across enterprise infrastructure, cloud platforms, network management, Microsoft 365/Exchange, backup and disaster recovery, databases, IT operations, vendor coordination, and security/compliance support.

Special Requirements:
May be required to support urgent incidents, maintenance windows, migration activities, DR tests, external audits, vendor workshops, and after-hours service restoration activities when business continuity or critical service availability is affected.Must be able to work effectively with internal business units, cybersecurity teams, procurement, finance, external vendors, service providers, and regulatory/compliance stakeholders.
