IT Infrastructure Solutions Architect

We’re looking for an experienced Infrastructure Solutions Architect to join our team and provide architecture leadership for cloud hosting capabilities, with a primary focus on AWS and strong practical knowledge of Azure. The role is based in Poland, with occasional visits to our office in Katowice. This is a great opportunity to work on cloud foundations and security-related platforms at enterprise scale within a global and multicultural organisation. What you’ll do Lead the design and review of AWS infrastructure solutions, including cloud networking, segmentation, connectivity and landing zone architecture.Work with Azure, particularly around enterprise identity and integration, and support hybrid cloud connectivity.Design and govern Kubernetes platforms, covering infrastructure, networking, ingress/egress, segmentation, resilience, observability and security.Act as an architecture and design authority, ensuring solutions align with enterprise standards, security requirements and established design patterns.Create and maintain architecture documentation using the C4 model, HLD/LLD documentation and architecture decisions.Promote secure and reusable architecture patterns, including Zero Trust principles.Support major incident and problem management, including root-cause analysis and critical incident coordination.Contribute to automation and standardisation with a DevOps mindset. Knowledge of Terraform and Infrastructure as Code is an advantage. What we’re looking for 5–10 years of experience in infrastructure engineering, operations and/or architecture.Strong experience designing and operating AWS environments.Practical knowledge of Azure, particularly identity and enterprise integration.Strong understanding of Kubernetes, cloud networking and hybrid connectivity.Experience with the C4 model and enterprise architecture governance.Ability to communicate complex technical concepts clearly to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.Knowledge of Terraform, IaC, CI/CD and DevOps practices is a plus.Experience in security-sensitive or highly governed environments is welcome.Familiarity with TOGAF or a comparable architecture framework is an advantage.Strong English communication skills.
