About The Role Reddit is seeking a talented Frontend Engineer to join the Brand Ad Formats team. In this role, you will be pivotal in developing innovative ad experiences that enhance brand visibility and engagement on Reddit’s platform. You will work closely with cross-functional teams including product managers, designers, and backend engineers to design, build, and optimize ad formats that deliver high-impact, memorable experiences for users and advertisers alike. Your contributions will directly influence Reddit’s advertising capabilities, especially as the company advances its focus on video ads and AI-driven interactive formats. This position demands a product-focused mindset, a strong technical foundation, and a passion for creating highly responsive, data-intensive applications that meet the evolving needs of advertisers and users. Qualifications 3+ years of professional experience in Web Engineering or related fieldsProficiency in Typescript, HTML, CSS, and Go programming languagesExperience with automated testing, code quality, and design patternsStrong understanding of building data-intensive, highly responsive, and fault-tolerant applicationsAbility to perform insightful code reviews and incorporate feedback effectivelyExperience leveraging GenAI tools to enhance software engineering productivityExcellent communication skills, capable of collaborating with remote teams and discussing complex technical topics with diverse audiences Preferred qualifications include experience working on ad tech platforms and consumer-facing sites with high production value at scale.
