As a Senior Civil Engineer in our Water team, you’ll play a key role in delivering projects that make a real difference to communities and the environment. You’ll work as part of collaborative, multi-discipline project teams, bringing your technical expertise to the delivery of innovative and sustainable water and wastewater solutions. Your Role Will Involve Leading and co-ordinating multi-disciplinary design teams to achieve successful project outcomes, with overall responsibility for the civil engineering design. Producing and reviewing feasibility studies, outline designs, detailed designs, reports and technical specifications for water and wastewater treatment, and infrastructure projects across all stages of the project lifecycle. Supporting the development of innovative, environmentally focused solutions that help our clients exceed their business targets for cost and carbon efficiency. Building strong relationships with our already established Client base including Wessex Water (YTL Infrastructure), Kier, Thames Water and Welsh Water. Participating in project planning and management to ensure timely and effective delivery. Ensuring all projects adhere to health, safety, and environmental regulations and implement best practices to promote sustainable and safe engineering solutions. Guiding and supporting others through mentoring and leadership, helping to build a collaborative and high‑performing team culture. We want to hear from you if you have… A degree in Civil Engineering, or equivalent experience, with a strong track record in the design and delivery of civil engineering projects. Chartered or Incorporated Engineer status, or are working towards chartership with a relevant institution such as ICE or CIWEM. Proven experience within the water sector at senior level. Experience of outline and/or detailed design with a strong focus on hydraulics, preferably of wastewater or water treatment schemes. Strong collaboration, communication and stakeholder engagement skills. Can work in the UK without restrictions either now or in the future.
