🚀 Product Research & Development Co-Ordinator / Trainee Co-Ordinator 📍 Blackpool, Lancashire | 💰 Competitive Salary | 🕘 Monday–Friday, 9am–5pm | Permanent I'm working with an established and innovative business within the environmental and safety products sector, who are looking to add a Product Research & Development Co-Ordinator / Trainee Co-Ordinator to their R&D team. This is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys research, developing ideas, understanding customers and taking projects from an initial concept through to launch. You'll play a key role in supporting the development of new products, working across the business to turn customer and market insight into commercially viable product ideas. Your responsibilities will include: Conducting market and competitor research to identify customer needs, market gaps and opportunitiesGenerating and evaluating new product ideasKeeping up to date with industry trends, innovations and commercial opportunitiesEngaging directly with customers to understand their needs and develop product conceptsOrganising and attending face-to-face customer research meetingsPreparing detailed design briefs for the Product Design teamProject managing new product development projects, ensuring key milestones are deliveredWorking closely with Product Design, Engineering, Marketing, Sales and OperationsPreparing and delivering presentations to internal stakeholdersCoordinating activities around new product launchesSupporting the ongoing review and development of the existing product portfolioTravelling for business when required They're looking for someone who is: Creative and able to generate new ideasAnalytical with strong research and problem-solving skillsCommercially aware and customer-focusedA strong communicator, both written and verballyHighly organised with good project management skillsComfortable managing multiple prioritiesProactive, self-motivated and detail-orientedConfident using Microsoft Office or equivalentHappy to travel when required Previous experience in Product Development, R&D, Marketing or Project Management would be beneficial, alongside experience in customer research, market analysis or working cross-functionally.
