In particular, the Azure Multimodal Intelligence (MMI) team is driving the development of various cognitive services, including optical character recognition (OCR), document understanding, and related fields in document intelligence. Responsibilities As part of the team, you will: Design, develop, and deliver high-quality software to enhance the availability, reliability, scalability, latency, security, resiliency, and efficiency of our services.Collaborate across teams to share good practices, improve engineering standards, evaluate emerging technologies, and drive adoption of modern data engineering capabilities.Demonstrate the ability to learn rapidly, be self-directed, and collaborate effectively with team members.Foster a culture of being agile, innovative, team-oriented, customer-focused and data-driven. Qualifications Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or related technical field AND 2+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, or Python OR equivalent experience2+ years of a proven track record for building and shipping production serviceExperience designing, developing, or supporting data pipelines, ETL/ELT processes, data models, or analytical solutionsDemonstrated ability and effectiveness working in a significant technical problem domain, in the term of plan, design, execution, continuous release and service operationThe ability to multi-task while balancing short-term and long-term tasksAgility in fast paced environment Preferred Qualifications Experience on one or more of the following domains:Microsoft SQL Server and Azure SQL Databases or similar database platformsETL/ELT environments with Azure Data Factory, SSIS or similar technologiesAzure Core Platform with machine learning, storage, networking, access, certificate, and compliance managementProven testing/validation, analytics/telemetry and problem-solving skillsExperience in a DevOps culture, particularly for supporting live siteDeep passion for customer-centric approaches, design thinking, data analysis, and emerging technologies This position will be open for a minimum of 5 days, with applications accepted on an ongoing basis until the position is filled.
