Job Title : Security Automation & AI Engineer
Location : Manchester, London (Remote)
Job Summary
We are looking for a Security Automation & AI Engineer with 6–10 years of experience in cybersecurity, SOC, security engineering, DevSecOps, and automation.
The role focuses on building security automations, SOAR playbooks, AI-driven solutions, detection pipelines, and integrating security into CI/CD environments.
Key Responsibilities
Design and maintain security automation workflows and SOAR playbooks for alert triage, investigation, enrichment, and remediation.Build detection-as-code and CI/CD pipelines for automated security detection and deployment.Develop AI-assisted security investigation and automation solutions using tools such as Microsoft Copilot and LLM-based technologies.Identify security processes that can be automated using AI, scripting, and APIs.Automate vulnerability management, prioritization, remediation tracking, and reporting.Integrate SIEM, EDR, SOAR, DLP, IAM, and other security tools using REST APIs.Work with DevOps/R&D teams to embed security controls into GitHub, Azure DevOps, Jenkins, and CI/CD pipelines.Support SOC, incident response, and threat-hunting activities.Evaluate new AI and automation technologies and develop proof-of-concepts.Create documentation, runbooks, and operational procedures for security automation.Required Skills
6–10 years of experience in Security Operations, Security Engineering, DevSecOps, or Cybersecurity.Strong Python programming and scripting experience; PowerShell/Bash is a plus.Hands-on experience with SOC, SIEM, EDR, SOAR, threat hunting, and incident response.Strong experience with CI/CD, Git, GitHub, Azure DevOps, or Jenkins.Experience developing REST API integrations and automation workflows.Knowledge of AWS, Azure, or GCP and cloud security.Understanding of AI/ML, Generative AI, LLMs, and AI-driven security automation.Experience using or working with Microsoft Copilot is highly desirable.Knowledge of MITRE ATT&CK, NIST, CIS, and DevSecOps.Strong analytical, communication, problem-solving, and documentation skills.Ideal Candidate
