Job Summary
We are looking for an experienced Software Engineer IV to build and maintain automation that keeps a large-scale UGC application reliable in production across VR, mobile, and PC/cloud streaming platforms.
The role will work closely with the Runtime and KTLO teams, focusing on production reliability, CI/CD, cloud deployment, build health, incident detection, and reducing manual operational and on-call work through automation.
Key Responsibilities
Build and maintain automation for CI/CD, release pipelines, build health, crash triage, and incident detection.Maintain and improve AI-assisted code repair and developer tooling.Develop tools to detect broken builds, identify root causes, and recommend or automatically apply fixes.Monitor production quality, reliability, and performance metrics and respond to incidents and regressions.Automate repetitive operational tasks with a goal of reducing recurring on-call work by 80–90%.Support infrastructure and dependency migrations while keeping CI/CD pipelines operational.
Required Skills:
8+ years of professional software engineering experience.Strong experience with CI/CD, build, release, and cloud deployment pipelines at scale.Experience operating cloud services and production server-side systems.Experience with AI-assisted developer tools, coding agents, or automated code repair.Experience with build failure detection and root-cause analysis.Strong production monitoring, crash triage, and incident response experience.Proven ability to reduce operational workload through automation.Experience with infrastructure or dependency migrations
