DevOps Infrastructure Engineer

DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer To £55,000 per annum Location: Remote with travel to Shoreham by Sea as required We’re looking for a hands-on DevOps / Infrastructure Engineer to join an established infrastructure team during a significant programme of work. The team is currently upgrading 40+ customers onto a new DevOps infrastructure, so this is a great opportunity to get involved in a substantial migration programme while helping to improve automation, security, reliability and day-to-day infrastructure operations. Security is a key focus, with the team working towards 24/7 patching through increased automation and improved processes. You’ll need to be someone who can balance technical delivery with security and customer impact. What you’ll be doing Play a leading hands-on role in migrating 40+ customers onto the DevOps platformBuild, automate and improve AWS infrastructureDevelop Infrastructure-as-Code using TerraformWork with containers, orchestration and troubleshootingSupport Linux infrastructure and PostgreSQLManage load balancers including AWS ALB, NGINX and ApacheTroubleshoot infrastructure issues, including memory faults and server crashesManage Active Directory, SSL certificates and secure communicationsSupport networking across AWS, including VPCs, IGWs, NAT Gateways and security groupsContribute to monitoring and observability using GrafanaSupport infrastructure maintenance, migrations, patching, audit and compliance activityWork collaboratively within an Agile / sprint-based environmentThere will be occasional out-of-hours and Sunday work for activities such as maintenance, migrations and patching, with time off in lieu provided.
