Location: Montreal, Quebec, Canada
Role Summary
We are seeking an Avionics / Electrical Engineer to join a leading aerospace engineering and aircraft certification organisation in Montreal.
The successful candidate will support aircraft modification, integration, and certification programmes across fixed-wing and rotary-wing platforms, delivering compliant and high-quality engineering solutions.
Key Responsibilities
Design and integrate aircraft electrical and avionics systems.Produce wiring diagrams, electrical schematics, installation drawings, and certification reports.Support STC, aircraft modification, and interior completion projects.Perform electrical load analysis, compliance assessments, and system integration studies.Ensure compliance with Transport Canada, FAA, and EASA regulations.Support aircraft testing, troubleshooting, validation, and certification activities.Liaise with customers, OEMs, operators, and regulatory authorities.Provide technical support to production, installation, and maintenance teams.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Avionics Engineering, or a related discipline.Minimum 3 years of aerospace engineering experience in avionics, electrical systems, or aircraft modifications.Experience producing aircraft electrical design documentation and installation drawings.Strong understanding of aircraft electrical systems, avionics architecture, and wiring installations.Knowledge of Transport Canada, FAA, and/or EASA certification requirements.Experience using electrical design and CAD software.Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.Eligibility to work in Canada.
Preferred Qualifications
P.Eng.
