Senior Mechanical Engineer - Static / Rotating Location: Woking, Surrey Duration: 10-12 month Fixed Term Contract Salary: Negotiable depending on experience Applicant must have the right to work in the United Kingdom. Penspen www.penspen,com are looking for a Senior Mechanical Engineer (Static / Rotating) (Onshore/Offshore) who may operate within the Core Engineering Team or PMT project team environment. They will be serving in the Core Technical team, report to the FEED/Technical Core Manager via the Lead Mechanical Engineer, or direct if appropriate. For service within the PMT Teams, the Senior Mechanical Engineer will report to the Project Head/Senior Project Engineer via the Lead Mechanical Engineer or direct if appropriate. The Senior Mechanical Engineer will manage the output of engineer grade personnel working under his authority and will liaise with other discipline personnel in the Technical Core Team or PMT teams as appropriate to his area of service. The primary location is Woking, Surrey, you may be required to work in Al Khafji, KSA. Must Have:- FEED Engineering activities experience.Engineering experience with Pressure vessel, shell/tube heat exchanger, and tanks.Perform/review Equipment mechanics design and calculationsReview equipment layout 2D/3D models.Prepare/review equip. datasheet and material Requisition MR.Prepare/review Technical Bid Evaluation for equipment.Saudi Aramco Standards SAES and internation API codes.Preferred age not more than 45 years.Design software experience for static equipment Knowledge / Experience (Skills) At least 12 years of experience; 6 years of them within the field of Mechanical Engineering for major Oil and Gas/Petrochemical projects.PMC experience at similar role for at least several years is preferable.Knowledge of Saudi Aramco Desktop Standard and procedures/practices is beneficial.Previous exposure to construction and commissioning phases is beneficial but not mandatory.Computer literate with all MS Packages, particularly Word and Excel proficient. Qualifications Bachelor’s Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
