Coveo Developer Location: Irving, CA Work Arrangement: Hybrid Job Type: Contract USC or GC Only No 3rd Party Vendors Job Overview We are seeking a skilled and experienced Coveo Developer for a contract opportunity based in Irving, California. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing, configuring, integrating, and optimizing enterprise search solutions using the Coveo platform. This role will focus on delivering intelligent, relevant, and user-friendly search experiences across multiple enterprise applications and content repositories. You will work closely with solution architects, application development teams, technical stakeholders, and business users to understand search requirements and deliver scalable Coveo solutions. Key Responsibilities Design, develop, configure, and maintain enterprise search solutions using the Coveo platform.Configure Coveo sources, crawlers, pipelines, indexing processes, and content ingestion workflows.Develop and maintain Coveo Query Pipelines, ranking rules, ranking expressions, and relevance configurations.Implement search relevance tuning and continuously improve search result quality.Develop customized search interfaces using Coveo Headless, Coveo Atomic Components, JavaScript, TypeScript, and React.Configure facets, filters, result templates, search interfaces, recommendations, and other Coveo components.Integrate Coveo with enterprise platforms and business applications.Work with content from platforms such as Salesforce, ServiceNow, SharePoint, Microsoft 365, Sitecore, Adobe Experience Manager (AEM), and custom applications.Design and support content indexing and synchronization processes.Implement security trimming to ensure users only access content they are authorized to view.Develop and integrate REST APIs and custom data connectors where required.Monitor search performance and troubleshoot indexing, search, and relevance issues.Use Coveo Analytics to evaluate search behavior, user engagement, and search performance.Analyze search data and recommend improvements to relevance, usability, and adoption.Leverage Coveo machine learning and AI capabilities to improve search and recommendation experiences.Prepare search analytics, dashboards, and reports for technical and business stakeholders.Collaborate with cross-functional teams throughout the design, development, testing, and deployment lifecycle. Required Skills & Experience Hands-on experience developing and implementing solutions using the Coveo Platform.Strong experience with Coveo Headless and Coveo Atomic Components.Strong JavaScript / TypeScript development skills.Experience with React or modern front-end frameworks.Solid understanding of REST APIs and enterprise application integrations.Experience with Coveo indexing, sources, crawlers, and content pipelines.Strong knowledge of search relevance tuning, ranking, and Query Pipelines.Experience working with Coveo Analytics and search performance reporting.Understanding of enterprise content management and search architectures.Experience implementing security trimming and content access controls.Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
