About the Opportunity:

PLATFORM DATA ENGINEER will be responsible for designing, deploying, and managing the core data infrastructure that supports the organization's analytics ecosystem.
This role ensures the data platform is reliable, scalable, and high-performing, directly influencing the effectiveness of data-driven security solutions.
Responsibilities:
Deploy, configure, and manage platform tools like Airflow and Superset in productionMaintain infrastructure-as-code for data platform components using TerraformBuild and oversee CI/CD pipelines for platform services and data workflowsImplement and monitor platform security, access controls, and complianceDevelop and maintain data models with DBT and catalog data assets using OpenMetadataWrite Python code for automation and data processingMentor junior engineers and provide technical leadership
Requirements:
Eligibility for CJIS clearance (U.S.
citizenship or permanent resident status)Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field8+ years of combined infrastructure and data engineering experienceAdvanced Python programming skills (5+ years)Expertise in Apache Airflow deployment and administrationExperience managing Apache Superset or similar BI platformsCloud platform expertise (AWS, GCP, Azure, or OCI) including IAM and networkingProficiency with Infrastructure-as-Code toolsContainer orchestration experience with Kubernetes and/or DockerKnowledge of DBT and OpenMetadataStrong SQL and data modeling skillsExperience with data security and complianceProven use of AI technologies to improve business outcomes
