Senior Software Developer - Hardware/Software Automation

Senior Software Developer A fantastic opportunity for an experienced developer to join a global Semiconductor Company, working alongside their Automation Team in Rotterdam, The Netherlands. In this role you’ll play a pivotal role in developing front end design automation flows and supporting a global Digital IP development team. In this full-time role, you’ll report directly to our Design Automation Manager. Our Design Automation group is dedicated to building and supporting world class tools and automation, and your contributions will be instrumental in supporting ongoing automation work and support. In this role, you will be working with some of the brightest inventors and engineers in the world developing products that make data faster and safer. Responsibilities: Develop tools and automation to support front end verification, lint, synthesis and package generationWork closely with members of the Design Automation, Verification and Development teams to collaboratively solve problems and build solutionsProvide support to our global engineering organization Qualifications: BS or MS degree in electrical or computer engineering or closely related degree strongly preferred; but substantial, relevant, outstanding work experience may substitute in some cases5-10 years of experience working as a HW/SW engineer or related fieldProficiency with object-oriented programming methodologiesProficiency with SystemVerilog, VerilogProficiency with Python, Tcl, Perl, and BashUnderstanding of CDC and RDC conceptsExperience creating automation for front end design EDA toolsStrong written and verbal communication skills By applying to this role you understand that we may collect your personal data, store and process it on our systems.
