We are looking for an experienced Java Engineer to join our Next Generation System Management (NGSM) team, working on a network management suite supporting ASTRO radio systems.
You will be part of a team building modern network management applications that combine an intuitive user experience with powerful, reliable backend services.
In this role, you will design and develop scalable microservices, contribute to architectural decisions, and help ensure high performance and reliability in a mission-critical environment.

Design, develop, and maintain robust backend microservices using modern Java and SpringContribute to software architecture and technical decisions, with a focus on scalability, maintainability, and performanceWork with distributed systems and orchestration technologies in a cloud and Kubernetes environmentBuild and integrate event-driven solutions using Kafka and Azure Event HubsDesign, optimize, and maintain PostgreSQL databasesTroubleshoot complex backend, performance, and orchestration challengesContribute to clean, well-structured, and maintainable codebasesCollaborate closely with other engineers and technical stakeholders in an Agile environmentUse modern generative AI tools, including GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini, as part of your daily development workflowContribute to technical documentation, code reviews, and knowledge sharing
What we’re looking for
Strong professional experience with Java 21+ and the Spring FrameworkSolid understanding of OOP, clean code, and software design principlesHands-on experience designing and developing microservices and distributed systemsGood knowledge of Azure and KubernetesPractical experience with Kafka and/or Azure Event HubsStrong experience with PostgreSQL, including database design and optimizationExperience with performance tuning and resource optimization for high-availability backend servicesGood knowledge of Git and GitHubPractical experience using GitHub Copilot, Google Gemini, or similar AI-assisted development toolsWorking knowledge of Linux and scriptingUnderstanding of networking fundamentals, including protocols, routing, and network servicesGood command of English, enabling effective technical communication and documentation
