Description

We are looking for a Senior Python Developer to join the Development Chapter of a major energy-sector company and contribute to the development of an internal application monitoring and alerting platform. Responsibilities Develop and optimize backend solutions using Python.Design robust, secure, scalable, and maintainable solutions.Collaborate with business, DevOps, and Data Engineering teams.Diagnose and resolve complex technical issues.Implement best practices for testing, code quality, and CI/CD.Participate in code reviews and mentor junior developers.Contribute to legacy code refactoring and continuous improvement. Tech Stack Python, FastAPI, Pydantic, AsyncIO, SQL, PostgreSQL/MSSQL, RabbitMQ, event-driven architectures, REST/API, Docker, CI/CD. Experience with Azure Cloud, NoSQL, and Selenium is a plus. Profile 6+ years of professional development experience, including 3+ years with Python.Strong backend development and service-oriented architecture experience.Good knowledge of design patterns, data structures, and algorithms.Experience working in Agile environments.Strong understanding of IT security, ideally within a critical infrastructure environment.Ability to provide technical leadership and mentor developers.Excellent analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.Good Dutch and/or French, as well as English.
