Senior DevOps Engineer

DevOps Engineer who is passionate about CI/CD automation, security automation, security best practices, zero-downtime deployment, and observable cloud infrastructure.

Design and implement resilient, scalable, and observable processes and infrastructure used across client implementations of the softwareSecure networks, applications, and dataProvide production monitoring and support for client systemsDesign, deploy, and maintain Elastic-based logging, monitoring, and alerting solutionsDesign and implement automation tools for testing, monitoring, and reportingDesign and implement integrations within CI/CD pipelinesBuild security controls into Engineering and DevOps pipelines (e.g., build automation and configuration management)Participate in code and design reviewsUnderstand and advocate for the OWASP Top 10, industry best practices, and secure coding principlesWork with clients on infrastructure and scaling requirementsReview and assess client deployments for potential security, scaling, and reliability issuesRoutinely conduct, review, and resolve findings from penetration and vulnerability assessmentsReview the security posture of new product integrationsAssist with company compliance objectives
Qualifications
EXPERIENCE & KNOWLEDGE:
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Computer Security, Information Systems, or related field3+ years of related DevOps, infrastructure, and security experienceDeep knowledge of Microsoft Azure, including networking (VNets, subnets, NSGs, Private Link), security (Entra ID, Key Vault, Defender for Cloud), Kubernetes (AKS), managed databases, and monitoring/observability (Azure Monitor, Log Analytics)Hands-on experience with at least one additional cloud platform (AWS or GCP) strongly preferredExpert in Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform (and similar technologies)Experience with the Elastic Stack (Elasticsearch, Kibana, Logstash/Beats/Elastic Agent), including cluster deployment, scaling, tuning, and using Elastic for logging, monitoring, and observabilityExperience with REST-style web services and APIsExperience with API security and best practicesExperience with mobile device and application securityExperience designing networks and subnets (VNets/VPCs) for security, monitoring, and preventionExperience with CI/CD automation tools such as Azure DevOps, GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or AWS CodePipeline
Nice To Have
Relevant certifications such as Azure DevOps Engineer Expert (AZ-400), Azure Administrator (AZ-104), AWS, Kubernetes (CKA/CKAD), Terraform, or ElasticUnderstanding of compliance programs such as SOC 2 and PCI DSSExperience with PostgreSQL performance tuning, including query and index analysis and index creationExperience tuning Kubernetes pod resource requests and limits based on observed metrics
