Description
CUE-X is seeking an experienced Performance Testing and Platform Automation Engineer to support enterprise platforms, deliver comprehensive performance testing, and automate operational processes across cloud hosted environments.
These are 12 month Contract opportunities to start November 2026.
Due to the nature of the work, you must be an Australian Citizen to be considered with an active mid level AGSVA security clearance highly regarded.
Key Responsibilities
Design, develop and maintain performance test scripts using LoadRunner and related tools.Execute load, stress, endurance and scalability testing.Analyse test results, identify performance bottlenecks and recommend improvements.Monitor application, database, infrastructure and cloud platform performance.Support and maintain dedicated performance testing environments.Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment workflows.Build API integrations and infrastructure automation solutions.Troubleshoot platform issues and improve system reliability and operational efficiency.Produce clear performance test reports and support defect resolution.Collaborate closely with development, testing and operations teams.
Skills And Experience
Strong experience with LoadRunner, including VuGen, Controller and Analysis.Experience with performance-testing tools such as JMeter or NeoLoad.Strong knowledge of CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation.Experience scripting with Python, PowerShell and/or Bash.Familiarity with REST APIs, Terraform, Ansible, Docker and Kubernetes.Experience with monitoring and observability tools such as Dynatrace, AppDynamics, Splunk, Grafana or Datadog.Knowledge of Git, GitLab CI/CD, GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins.Strong analytical, troubleshooting and stakeholder-engagement skills.
