Senior DevOps Engineer

About the Opportunity: The Senior DevOps Engineer will own specific product deployments by maintaining, optimizing, and enhancing on-premises and cloud computing environments. This role is critical to the successful deployment and integration of AI operations software solutions for clients, ensuring seamless customization and configuration. The position supports operational reliability and performance across mission-critical systems, contributing directly to national security and commercial client success. It offers flexibility in work location, including fully remote or hybrid options with some required travel. 3. Responsibilities: Automate infrastructure as code to manage virtual machines, deploy containers, and other infrastructureDeploy custom Kubernetes clusters across AWS, Azure, GCP, on-premises, or hybrid environmentsCollaborate with platform developers and customer-facing teams to define requirements and develop solutionsDeploy software to commercial, unclassified, CUI, and classified Department of Defense networksRespond to incidents and perform initial triage of critical system faultsMonitor, automate, and improve software reliability, performance, and availabilityServe as liaison between platform developers and customer teams for operational supportProvide guidance to junior DevOps team members as neededExplore and implement new technologies and solutions to improve deployments 4. Requirements: 6+ years of hands-on experience with:Python and/or Golang or other general-purpose programming languagesMicroservice deployment in KubernetesDiagnosing and resolving containerized environment issuesHelm Chart and Kustomizations development/deploymentAutomation and infrastructure as code tools (e.g., Terraform, Ansible)Cloud infrastructure platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, GCP, OpenStack)Managing and troubleshooting Linux systems (RHEL, Ubuntu, CentOS)Ability to work cross-functionally to define requirements and build solutionsCompetence in incident response and triage of critical faultsActive Secret or higher US security clearanceUS citizenship required 5.
