Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers. Performs field startup and system commissioning tasks as well as the remote installation of software and control programs. This job is part of the Software Engineering job function responsible for delivering projects on a global scale for large enterprise clients using industry leading technologies and processes. What You’ll Do Create complex programming using flow diagrams, sequences of operations and panel layouts. Perform programming of control applications using various software tools. Perform job-site system checkout, commissioning, and testing of control applications. Confirm proper operation according to project specifications, sales proposal, and design documentation. Approve and develop system graphic displays, according to project specifications or sales proposal. Provide on-site and remote technical support to installers and customers. Perform multifaceted system evaluation and diagnostics. Isolate and troubleshoot escalated problems and take corrective action. Document problem resolution and report finding back to Project team for customer follow-up. Apply general knowledge of standard principles and techniques/procedures to accomplish assigned tasks and solve routine problems. Have broad knowledge of own job discipline and some knowledge of several job disciplines within the function. Support the management of software tools. Lead by example and model behaviors that are consistent with CBRE RISE values. May convince to reach an agreement. Impact the quality of own work and the work of others on the team.
