Job Description As a Senior Control System Engineer, you develop advanced control solutions for complex high-tech systems. You take ownership of control concepts and system performance, combining modelling and simulation with integration and validation on physical systems. Within multidisciplinary R&D projects, you work on challenging system dynamics and motion control problems. You define technical solutions, evaluate design choices and support other engineers in bringing new control concepts from simulation to a robust implementation. What will you do? Design and develop control concepts for complex mechatronic systemsDefine control architectures and translate system requirements into technical solutionsModel and simulate dynamic system behaviour using MATLAB/SimulinkDevelop and optimise control algorithms for performance, accuracy and stabilityAnalyse system dynamics and identify performance limitationsValidate control solutions on prototypes and high-tech systemsEvaluate measurement data and compare physical behaviour with simulation resultsSolve complex multidisciplinary system and control issuesProvide technical direction and contribute to design reviewsCollaborate with mechanical, electrical, software and system engineers throughout the development process Your profile You hold a BSc or MSc in Systems & Control, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or a related fieldYou have several years of experience in control engineering and complex mechatronic systemsYou have strong knowledge of control theory, system dynamics and modellingYou have experience with MATLAB/SimulinkYou are experienced in designing, testing and validating control solutionsYou understand the interaction between mechanics, electronics, software and controlYou are able to analyse complex technical challenges at system level Interested?
