Job Description As a Backend Engineer at DOSS, you will architect the core infrastructure for a real-time platform managing procurement and inventory. You'll build EAV data models, Git-style version control for production tenants, and AI-assisted schema tools. This role is critical in replacing outdated ERPs with an adaptable, high-performance operations system for global commerce. What You Will Do Design and scale the core platform infrastructure, including EAV data models and a declarative schema-as-code engine.Build a Git-style version control and migration system to safely manage schema changes across live production tenants.Collaborate on AI-assisted tooling that leverages foundation models to propose and apply structural database changes automatically. The ideal candidate Possesses deep backend expertise with high-performance databases such as Postgres, Elasticsearch, or specialized engines like DuckDB and Memgraph.Has a proven track record of designing robust abstractions and infrastructure that other engineering teams depend on to build features.Demonstrates a builder mindset with a focus on craftsmanship, technical ownership, and the ability to navigate complex architectural tradeoffs.
