Job Summary Seeking a Cloud Software Engineer to support the development, integration, enhancement, maintenance, testing, and sustainment of mission-critical software systems within a highly secure environmentThis position works across the software development lifecycle to analyze requirements, develop and integrate software capabilities, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure reliable system performanceThe ideal candidate is an experienced software engineer who can work independently and collaboratively within a technical team while supporting complex customer and mission requirements Primary Responsibilities Perform software requirements analysis, design, development, integration, testing, installation, enhancement, maintenance, and sustainment activitiesDevelop and maintain software applications and supporting components in accordance with established technical requirements and engineering standardsIntegrate software components and capabilities within existing system environmentsEvaluate software performance and functionality and recommend improvements as neededDiagnose and resolve software defects, integration issues, and operational problemsSupport software testing, troubleshooting, and problem resolution throughout the development lifecycleParticipate in technical reviews, software evaluations, and continuous improvement activitiesDevelop and maintain technical documentation associated with software development, integration, testing, and sustainment activitiesCollaborate with software engineers, systems engineers, test engineers, and other technical team members to deliver reliable mission capabilitiesSupport cloud-based software development and deployment activities as required Required Qualifications Must have active Top Secret/SCI clearance with NSA Full Scope PolygraphA Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related technical field is highly desired and may be considered equivalent to two (2) years of experienceA Master's degree in a technical field may be considered equivalent to four (4) years of experience.Degrees in Mathematics, Information Systems, Engineering, or similar disciplines will be considered technical degreesEight (8) or more years of directly related experience in software development or software engineeringQualifying experience must include activities such as:Requirements analysisSoftware developmentSoftware installationSoftware integrationSoftware evaluationSoftware enhancementSoftware maintenanceSoftware testingProblem diagnosis and resolutionCandidates must possess, or be willing to obtain prior to start, at least one of the following certifications:AWS Certified Developer – AssociateAWS Certified Machine Learning – AssociateAWS Certified Machine Learning – SpecialtyAWS Certified DevOps Engineer – ProfessionalCertified Kubernetes Application Developer (CKAD) Desired Qualifications No desired qualifications listed at this time Exempt hourly position. 11 paid holidays, minimum of 3 weeks PTO, company sponsored group medical plan, company paid dental, vision, life insurance, and STD/LTD plans. Salary is dependent upon the candidate’s experience and qualifications. The Pay Range For This Role Is 180,000 - 235,000 USD per year(NBP)
