About The Role We are seeking an experienced Senior Software Developer (m/w/d) to join our engineering team. In this role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining sophisticated software solutions within the .NET ecosystem, primarily focusing on creating high-performance REST APIs and microservice architectures. Qualifications The successful candidate will possess several years of professional experience in software development, particularly with C# and .NET Core (including the latest .NET versions). A strong understanding of relational databases such as MS SQL Server, Oracle, and PostgreSQL is essential. Candidates should have experience with software architecture design, distributed systems, and modern CI/CD pipelines, along with proficiency in containerization technologies. Familiarity with agile methodologies like Scrum and Kanban is required, coupled with excellent communication skills in both German and English. A demonstrated passion for software engineering, a quick grasp of new technologies, and the ability to share knowledge effectively are highly valued. Responsibilities Your primary responsibilities will include developing modern applications using C# and .NET Core (including .NET 10), with a focus on implementing scalable and secure REST APIs within microservice architectures. You will ensure high code quality through adherence to Clean Code principles, SOLID design patterns, and comprehensive testing. Conducting code reviews, providing technical mentorship, and actively contributing new ideas, tools, and best practices will be integral parts of your role.
