Interested candidates are encouraged to send their CV to navika.srivastava@lancesoft.com Job Title :- Senior DevOps Engineer – Location :- Oman Role Type :- 12+ months contract Any other Mandate – Only local Omani Nationals Role Summary We are seeking a Lead Platform Support Engineer - DevOps with 5-7 years of experience in managing and supporting containerized application platforms. The candidate will be responsible for platform operations, deployment support, monitoring, troubleshooting, and maintaining high availability of enterprise applications running on Kubernetes-based environments. Key Responsibilities Manage and support Kubernetes clusters, Pods, containers, and platform infrastructure.Perform container lifecycle management, deployment, scaling, and maintenance activities.Utilize Ansible for automation, configuration management, and operational tasks.Monitor platform health, performance, and availability using enterprise monitoring and logging tools.Analyze logs, troubleshoot production issues, and drive timely incident resolution.Support application deployments and release activities through Azure DevOps pipelines (Azure DevOps experience required; Azure Cloud expertise not mandatory).Collaborate with development, infrastructure, and support teams to ensure smooth platform operations.Implement operational best practices for stability, reliability, and performance optimization.Participate in root cause analysis and continuous improvement initiatives.Required Skills 5-7 years of experience in Platform Support, DevOps, or Site Reliability Engineering roles.Strong hands-on experience with Kubernetes, Pods, Container Management, and Orchestration.Experience with Ansible automation and configuration management.Good understanding of monitoring, logging, deployment, and troubleshooting processes.Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps for CI/CD and deployment management.Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.Experience working in production support and 24x7 operational environments is preferred.Preferred Qualifications Exposure to Linux administration and scripting.Understanding of DevOps best practices and release management. Experience in managing enterprise-scale containerized platforms.
