Platform Engineer — C# .NET, AWS, Terraform Sydney | Hybrid 50% onsite | Permanent | $200K+ super The opportunity We're partnering with a leading Australian financial services organisation on a major engineering program: building a next-generation cloud platform from the ground up. It's a large-scale re-architecture that will underpin the organisations AI and digital ambitions for years to come. What you'll do Build and evolve high-performance services and APIs in modern C# and .NETDesign and deliver cloud infrastructure as code with Terraform, including reusable modules for other teams to adoptArchitect and build solutions across AWS compute, networking and data servicesTake full ownership of what you build, from design through to productionRamp up quickly and contribute from day oneHelp shape the platform's architecture, engineering standards and performanceMake AI tools a core part of how you analyse problems and write code What you'll bring Extensive commercial experience with C# and .NET Core, including APIs and microservicesStrong hands-on Terraform experience, ideally including building and versioning reusable modulesBroad, practical AWS knowledge across networking, IAM, compute, data and securityExperience designing and building CI/CD pipelines, not just using themA strong grounding in software design principles such as SOLID and Clean ArchitectureSolid experience with relational or document databases (e.g. Postgres, Aurora, SQL Server)A proven track record of taking complex systems from concept to productionThe ability to turn high-level requirements into well-designed, working solutions with minimal guidance Nice to have Amazon Bedrock or production GenAI/agentic experienceAWS data and streaming services (e.g. Athena, Glue, Kinesis)Scripting in Python, Bash or PowerShellObservability tooling (e.g. Grafana, Prometheus)Database migration tools (e.g. Liquibase, Flyway) Apply here or email brittany@nuagetg.io for a confidential chat.
