Long-term freelancers welcomeStart: as soon as possible 🎯 Why it matters Our bikes are computers on wheels: motor, display, battery, app and cloud, all talking to each other. Every release changes how thousands of riders feel their bike, and they keep it for a decade. What you build goes from a spec to a bike on the road, and you get to ride it. 🛠 What you will do You work directly with our digital lead and R&D. Many digital projects run at once: motors, displays, apps, web tools. You take a share, matched to your strengths, and what you take you own end to end, from the spec to the release on the bike: Build web apps, tools and prototypes (TypeScript, Python, Next.js, FastAPI) on agentic platforms (Claude Code, Codex)Run projects with our partners in China: write the specs, follow through, decide with us what goes on our bikesTest new firmware and app releases on real bikes and write down what you findKeep the pipelines running: CI/CD, hosting, monitoringRead a CAN trace, script a test rig, try the tool nobody asked forAt the start, expect more project management, testing and exploring than finished platforms. 🧰 What you bring Senior-level full-stack development with production experienceProject management in practice: several projects at once, clear specifications, follow-throughDaily work on agentic platforms (Claude Code, Codex or similar)DevOps and testing basics: CI/CD, Docker, cloud hosting, automated testsLove for bikes, no fear of hardware: multimeter, crimped cables, CAN busClear communication across cultures and time zonesFluent English ➕ Bonus: Mandarin (a real plus) or German; C/C++ basics to read firmware and CAN messages; Flutter or BLE; EU product compliance.
