About The Role Provides engineering support for facilities and associated infrastructure. Develops, evaluates, and implements maintenance procedures for electrical and Mechanical systems. Responsible for business continuity and critical engineering uptime. What You'll Do Perform planned preventive maintenance of equipment’s as per OEM/recommended schedules. Maintains records for preventive and breakdown maintenance. Conducts LCA (life cycle analysis) for all the M&E set up at the site. Attends to issues related to Aircons and temperature controls in office premises. Assists with project scheduling and helps to monitor project budget and timeline. Recommends safety improvements and adheres to all applicable codes, regulations, governmental agency and Company directives related to power, energy and infrastructure projects. Monitors fire alarm and general facility electrical systems. Responds quickly to emergency situations, summoning additional assistance as needed. Performs other duties as assigned. To be back up to the FM when he/she is on leave/vacation. Supervise FM operations, liase with vendors, LL. Provide timely updates to employees and stakeholders. Bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering with a minimum of ten years related industry experience. A valid driver’s license with a good driving record for applicable vehicles, without restrictions, or limiting conditions. (Corrective lenses permitted)Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Strong organizational and analytical skills. Ability to provide efficient, timely, reliable and courteous service to customers. Ability to effectively present information. Requires knowledge of financial terms and principles. Ability to prepare opex and Capex budgets. Conducts basic financial analysis. Ability to comprehend, analyse, and interpret documents. Ability to solve problems involving several options in situations. Requires intermediate analytical and quantitative skills. Must possess a thorough knowledge of the use, setup and operation of Windows-based computers and desktop applications such as MS-Word and MS-Excel. Must be familiar with the design and specification of new equipment, including electrical distribution systems, motors, variable frequency drives, controls, lighting, electrical auxiliaries, etc. Decisions made with understanding of procedures and company policies to achieve set results and deadlines. Responsible for setting own project deadlines. Errors in judgment may cause short-term impact to co-workers and supervisor.
