Field Application Engineer

An exciting opportunity is available for a Field Application Engineer to join a growing technology business supporting customers across Australia and other countries globally on occassion when required. You’ll work closely with customers, sales and engineering teams to provide technical guidance throughout the design-in process - from product selection and prototyping through to qualification and production. Key Responsibilities Provide pre- and post-sales technical support to customers. Understand customer application and engineering requirements and recommend suitable solutions. Support product selection, design reviews, prototypes, testing and qualification. Troubleshoot technical and application-related issues. Deliver technical presentations, demonstrations and customer training. Partner with Sales to develop technical opportunities and drive design wins. Support new product introductions and identify additional opportunities within customer platforms. Liaise with internal engineering, product and manufacturing teams on customer requirements. About You Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Electronics, RF/Microwave, Mechanical Engineering or a related discipline. 3+ years' experience in applications engineering, field engineering or a similar technical customer-facing role. Experience across RF/Microwave, electronics, connectors, cable assemblies, telecommunications or related technologies is highly regarded. Strong communication and problem-solving skills with the ability to engage with both technical and commercial stakeholders. Willingness to travel across Australia and APAC as required.
