We innovate at the foundational layer of AI by training our own AI models. Our team Our team is composed of AI pioneers and leaders from Google X, Google Brain, and Space Agencies. Several of us are repeat founders, with deep commercialization insights across multiple enterprise segments. We enjoy long, deep ideations around entirely unexplored AI use cases in autonomy (cars, drones, robots). Who You Are Owner: You would rather be accountable for one thing being good than involved in five. Curious: You obsess over the detail others skip, particularly the ones users hit. Driven by Discomfort: You are willing to be the person who says no to an exciting research idea this quarter. Fast Learner: You pick things up faster than the people around you. Zero Ego: You solicit feedback rather than tolerate it, including from users who are blunt about it. Founder Mentality: You fix the most pressing problem of the day regardless of title. Educator: You turn what users tell you into a roadmap the team understands, not a queue it resents. Location San Francisco Technical Skills Product Ownership: You have owned a technical product used by demanding users, ideally with hardware attached. Release Engineering: Test infrastructure, CI, and a release process that makes shipping boring. Judgement: A track record of deciding what to build, what to defer, and what to refuse. Programming: Strong C++ and Python. Domain-Specific: Robotics, aviation, or another field where a bug has physical consequences.
