We are partnering with a leading Defence and advanced technology organisation delivering some of Australia's most complex military capability programs. This is a highly technical engineering role where you'll work at the intersection of electrical engineering, communications systems, and integrated Defence technologies. You'll play a key part in developing solutions that support critical operational capabilities, investigating complex technical challenges, and ensuring systems perform reliably in demanding environments. Working within multidisciplinary engineering teams, you'll contribute across the full engineering lifecycle, from design and integration through to testing, verification, and deployment Your Role Design, develop and integrate C4I (Command, Control, Communications, Computers and Intelligence) systems and subsystems.Develop electrical and communications engineering solutions for complex operational environments.Support the design and integration of tactical and strategic communications systems.Design and develop military vehicle electrical systems and wiring harnesses.Conduct requirements analysis, system integration, verification and validation activities.Produce high-quality technical documentation including specifications, interface definitions and test procedures.Plan and execute integration, test and acceptance activities.Investigate, troubleshoot and resolve technical issues during development, integration and deployment.Collaborate with customers, project teams, suppliers and end users to deliver effective engineering outcomes.Identify and manage technical risks while ensuring compliance with engineering and Defence standards About You: You will be a technically capable engineer who enjoys solving complex problems, working through challenging integration issues, and bringing innovative solutions to customers operating in highly demanding environments. To be successful, you will possess: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics Engineering or similar.Previous experience in Defence, aerospace, telecommunications or other complex engineering environments.Experience with communications systems, networking technologies, radio systems or mission-critical infrastructure.Strong understanding of systems engineering principles and engineering lifecycles.Experience in integration, testing, verification and requirements management.Background in electrical harness design and development.Strong analytical and problem-solving capability.Ability to work effectively within multidisciplinary engineering teams.What you'll get in return Work on cutting-edge defence technology.Join a collaborative and skilled engineering team.Competitive contract rates and potential for extension.What you need to do now Ready to make an impact in the defence sector?
