About the Opportunity: The SOFTWARE ENGINEER role is focused on designing, developing, and maintaining software systems and architectures that support automation and data analysis in fraud prevention within healthcare programs. The position involves implementing AI-driven solutions, managing high-performance databases, and ensuring compliance with data governance standards. This role is critical for advancing the organization's ability to detect and prevent healthcare fraud through technological innovation and efficient system integration. Responsibilities: Design, develop, test, and maintain enterprise software and scalable APIs/microservices.Lead system architecture efforts and participate in design and code reviews.Apply modern engineering practices including containerization, infrastructure-as-code, and secure secrets management.Implement CI/CD pipelines and DevOps workflows using Azure DevOps and Agile methods.Manage relational databases, optimize performance, and maintain data security and compliance.Oversee data pipelines, ETL processes, and data warehouse architecture.Prepare datasets for AI/ML and manage vector/embedding stores for retrieval-augmented generation.Develop and maintain robotic process automation solutions integrated with AI capabilities.Design and deploy large language model and agentic-based AI solutions with responsible AI practices. Requirements: Minimum 2 years experience with a BS/BA or 6 years with a high school diploma.Proficiency in C#/.NET, Visual Studio, and .NET Framework including ASP.NET MVC and OOP.Experience with complex SQL queries and databases such as Microsoft SQL Server and PostgreSQL.Python experience for automation and data tasks.Familiarity with RPA platforms and workflow design.Experience with RESTful APIs and integration with third-party and AI provider APIs.Knowledge of web technologies including HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript/TypeScript.Experience with version control systems and collaborative development workflows.Exposure to modern AI/LLM technologies and prompt engineering.Strong analytical, communication, and collaboration skills.U.S. citizenship is required. Pay Range and Compensation Package: Target Salary Range $66,000 - $106,000, determined by factors including experience, education, and geographic location.
