JOB TITLE: Senior Auth0 Engineer
JOB LOCATION: Sydney, NSW
JOB DURATION: 12-month contract
We are seeking a Senior Auth0 Engineer to join a technology team delivering identity and access management solutions.
This role is ideal for an experienced engineer with strong hands-on expertise in Auth0, OAuth 2.0, OIDC, SAML, token management, and application integrations.
Key Responsibilities
Implement and configure Auth0, including Universal Login, custom databases, enterprise connections, Rules and Actions.Work with Auth0 Management API and Authentication APIs to develop and integrate identity solutions.Design and implement authentication and authorisation solutions using OAuth 2.0, OIDC and SAML.Integrate Auth0 with Java/Spring Boot and .NET applications, including use of relevant Auth0 SDKs.Manage JWT validation, refresh token rotation, scopes and claims mapping into application authorisation models.Configure and manage Auth0 tenants, custom domains, branding and MFA/passkey enrolment flows.Implement and manage Machine-to-Machine (M2M) integrations.Troubleshoot authentication, authorisation and identity integration issues across applications and platforms.Key Skills & Experience
Strong hands-on Auth0 implementation and engineering experience.Strong protocol-level understanding of OAuth 2.0, OIDC and SAML.Experience integrating Auth0 with Java/Spring Boot and .NET applications.Strong understanding of JWTs, refresh tokens, scopes, claims and application authorisation.Experience with Auth0 tenant configuration, custom domains, MFA and passkeys.Experience implementing Machine-to-Machine authentication/integrations.Strong troubleshooting and integration skills across identity and application environments.
