As a Senior Backend Engineer, you will design and develop scalable backend services and microservices, contribute to architectural decisions, and ensure high performance, reliability, and maintainability of distributed systems.
YOU WILL
Design, develop, and maintain backend services and microservices using Java 21+ and SpringContribute to architecture and technical design decisions for distributed systemsBuild and orchestrate microservices running in Kubernetes and cloud environmentsDevelop event-driven solutions using Kafka and Azure Event HubsDesign, manage, and optimise PostgreSQL databasesImprove application performance, scalability, reliability, and resource utilisationTroubleshoot complex backend, networking, performance, and orchestration issuesWork with Azure, Kubernetes, Linux, Git, and GitHubUse GitHub Copilot and Google Gemini as part of the daily software development workflowMaintain high standards of clean code, testing, and software engineering practicesParticipate in technical discussions, code reviews, and architectural improvementsCollaborate with other engineers in an Agile environment
