AI Enabled Frontend Developer

(Remote) 3 yrs to 5 yrs experience AI Enabled Frontend Developer REV Media Group is looking for a frontend development consultant who can deliver landing pages, microsites and product interfaces quickly using AI as part of their daily workflow. The consultant will work with our engineering, design and delivery teams across REV’s digital products and media brands. ## What the consultant will do * Build responsive landing pages, campaign microsites and frontend features from designs and requirements. * Integrate frontend pages with existing APIs, including product and content APIs. * Work within existing codebases, following their components, conventions and deployment processes. * Handle practical frontend needs such as loading states, error handling, analytics tracking, accessibility and page performance. * Review generated code, test the finished behaviour and fix issues before handing work over for review. * Communicate progress and blockers clearly, and take assigned tickets through to completion. ## Required skills * Strong HTML, CSS and JavaScript/TypeScript fundamentals* Hands-on experience with React and Next.js* Experience consuming REST APIs and rendering dynamic content* Ability to turn Figma designs into responsive, production quality pages* Comfortable with Git, pull requests, code review and existing CI/CD workflows* Good understanding of frontend performance, SEO basics and analytics implementation* Able to work independently in an existing project without needing a new framework or architecture for every page ## AI assisted development is a core requirement We expect the consultant to use tools such as Cursor, Claude Code, Codex or equivalent to speed up implementation, debugging and routine work. They must be able to give these tools clear instructions, inspect the resulting code, and verify that the output works. We are looking for someone who can use AI to reduce the time spent on repetitive page development while keeping engineering quality high. Copying generated code into production without understanding or testing it does not meet this requirement. ## What Aaron Tech should provide for each candidate * Relevant frontend projects, including examples of landing pages or microsites they personally delivered. * The frameworks and AI development tools they use regularly. * One concrete example of how AI helped them deliver a frontend task faster, including what they reviewed or corrected themselves. * Availability, proposed rate and expected notice period. Shortlisted candidates should be ready for a practical exercise: build a responsive page from a design, fetch and render data from an API, and explain their implementation and testing approach.
