Senior Software Developer - Azure DevOps

Summary We are seeking a Senior Software Developer with strong experience in software development, cloud technologies, automation, and Azure DevOps. The ideal candidate will be hands-on in developing and maintaining applications, building CI/CD pipelines, automating processes, supporting infrastructure, and resolving complex technical issues. The candidate will work closely with architects, product owners, and business stakeholders to deliver secure, scalable, and reliable solutions while supporting operational and compliance requirements. Responsibilities Design, develop, enhance, and maintain software solutions across application, data, infrastructure, and operational environments.Build and maintain automation scripts, integrations, software components, Python tools, and SSIS packages.Develop and optimize CI/CD pipelines, deployment workflows, source control processes, and release practices.Support Infrastructure as Code (IaC), including provisioning databases and services using tools such as Azure Bicep.Troubleshoot complex application, infrastructure, and data issues; perform root cause analysis and implement permanent solutions.Manage application security requirements, including certificates, credentials, encrypted database connections, and cybersecurity risk assessments.Improve testing, deployment quality, pipeline reliability, and operational efficiency.Collaborate with architects, product owners, and cross-functional teams across Finance, Treasury, Accounting, and Compliance.Provide technical guidance, conduct code and design reviews, and mentor other engineers.Participate in on-call support rotations and contribute to production reliability and operational maturity.Use approved AI tools for productivity and automation while following security and governance standards. Requirements 5 years of relevant experience in software development, data engineering, infrastructure, or a related discipline.Hands-on experience with at least one major cloud platform: Azure, AWS, or GCP.Experience with modern programming languages, cloud technologies, automation, or data engineering.Experience designing, developing, or optimizing CI/CD pipelines, source control workflows, and deployment practices.Knowledge of information security, secure development practices, and risk management.Proven ability to troubleshoot high-impact technical issues, perform root cause analysis, and implement systemic fixes.Strong communication and collaboration skills, including working with technical and non-technical stakeholders. Required Skills Azure DevOps, pipeline engineering, release branching, and change control.Python scripting and tooling.Developing and deploying SSIS packages and ETL solutions.Azure Bicep or other Infrastructure as Code tools.Managing certificates and credentials across multiple environments.Encrypted database connections and cybersecurity risk assessments (CSRAs).Networking and environment coordination, including DNS and secure subnet configuration.Supporting finance or banking applications such as DNA, FDM, Bancware, PeopleSoft, Concur, OneStream, or Tax Documents API. Preferred Skills Note: Candidates must be comfortable working 8 AM–5 PM Pacific Time and participating in on-call support as required.
