Senior Power Platform Developer

The role We are looking for a senior Power Platform developer who can lead the technical side of client engagements from discovery through to go-live. This means designing the data model, security model and deployment approach, building the hard parts yourself, and setting the standard for the rest of the team. This is a hands-on role. You will spend most of your time designing and building, with a meaningful share of client-facing work, presales support and mentoring. Role Activities Lead technical discovery with clients, turning business processes into solution designs covering Dataverse data models, app architecture, automation and integration.Build and extend model-driven and canvas apps, Power Automate cloud flows, Power Pages and Copilot Studio agents.Use code where low-code isn't enough: PCF components, plug-ins, custom connectors, client-side scripting and Azure Functions.Own the solution lifecycle across environments using managed solutions, Power Platform Pipelines or Azure DevOps/GitHub CI/CD, environment variables and connection references.Design and implement Dataverse security models (business units, security roles, teams, column-level security).Advise clients on governance, including environment strategy, DLP policies, managed environments, the CoE Starter Kit and licensing implications.Integrate with Dynamics 365, SharePoint, SQL/Azure SQL, Azure services and third-party APIs.Support presales with estimates, proofs of concept, demos and statement-of-work input.Review code and solutions, mentor mid-level and junior developers, and help build Ilaria's delivery standards.Produce clear solution designs, technical documentation and handover material for client support teams. What you'll bring 5+ years of hands-on Microsoft Power Platform delivery, including at least 2 years as technical lead on client or enterprise projects.A track record of taking multiple solutions from design through to production and support.Deep Dataverse experience, including data modelling, the security model and solution layering.Strong Power Automate skills, including error handling, performance and throttling considerations at enterprise scale.Solution-aware ALM and automated deployment experience across multiple environments.Working proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript and C# (.NET) for extending the platform.Experience with SQL, SharePoint, Dynamics 365 and REST APIs.Consulting or professional services experience, and comfort running workshops and presenting to client stakeholders.Strong problem-solving and debugging skills, and clear written and verbal communication. Certifications Required: Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Developer Associate (PL-400 / AB-400), or the ability to obtain it within six months of starting.Highly regarded: Microsoft Certified: Agentic AI Business Solutions Architect Expert (AB-100), or Power Platform Solution Architect Expert (PL-600).Microsoft Certified: Power Platform Functional Consultant Associate (PL-200), or Intelligent Applications Builder Associate (AB-410).Microsoft Certified: Power BI Data Analyst Associate (PL-300). Nice to have Hands-on experience with Copilot Studio, AI Builder or Azure OpenAI in production solutions.Power BI report and semantic model development.Power Pages delivery for external-facing portals.A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
