Geo-Environmental Engineer required at NPLNorwich, Norfolk - NR1 2SGSalary starting at £37,241.45 per annum - Negotiable dependent on experienceMonday to Friday40 hours per weekNorfolk Partnership Laboratory (NPL) provide an experienced testing and consultancy service to the construction industry, performing a wide range of tests both onsite and at the laboratory, offering specialist advice to our clients.We are currently recruiting for a Geoenvironmental Engineer to join the laboratory team based at County Hall in Norwich. This opportunity is available on a permanent basis, working 40 hours per week.As Geoenvironmental Engineer you will design, implement and consult on a range of work programmes for external clients, including engineering solutions and conducting testing.Utilising your previous experience, you will plan and conduct a wide array of Geoenvironmental investigations.Alongside this you will also:Analyse your findings and compose reports to be reviewed by the Lead Engineer.Develop proposals, determine costs and schedules for investigations, andEntering data using geotechnical software, allowing you to produce logs and other associated outputsPrepare CAD drawings for investigations, design and reportingOur Successful Candidate will have extensive previous experience within Geoenvironmental Engineering, also demonstrating:Previous experience in factual report writing as well as providing expert recommendationsGeoenvironment Engineering / Engineering Geology or similar qualificationProfessional membership of an appropriate professional body, and willing to obtain chartered statusStrong communicator, with excellent verbal and written skillsBenefits of Working with Us:25 days annual leave + 8 days bank holidaysPaid company sickness schemeEnrolment into our company pensionExcellent career progression opportunitiesPlease read the job description and person specification to ensure you meet the criteria for the role before applying.We are committed to employment practices and behaviours which encourage diversity, promote equality of treatment and eliminate unlawful and or unfair discrimination.We reserve the right to close this vacancy once we have received sufficient applications.
